John will shed some light on things people involved on the corporate side of IR usually don't have much time to think
about. Beginning with a brief overview of the conflicting motivations of the players in the capital markets, the talk
quickly moves on to examine why sell side coverage is so difficult to get for small cap firms, a background on hedge
funds, the research surrounding investor relations, how much time analysts are likely to spend on research of your
company, and current trends in guidance. All this and more, in less than 30 minutes, so fasten your seat belts.

John Palizza is both a Consultant for Three Part Advisors and a Lecturer in Management at the Jones Graduate
School of Business at Rice University. His course on Investor Relations is the only MBA level course taught on the
subject anywhere.
