

Dave Mossberg has over 15 years of experience analyzing firms and advising executives.
Prior to founding Three Part Advisors, Dave co-founded a successful investor relations
advisory firm and a successful institutional investor conference. Having been an audience for
investor relations pitches during his career as an equity analyst, Dave’s experience and
relationships within the investment community give him a unique perspective on investor
relations. As an equity analyst, Dave covered a variety of companies spanning multiple
industries and market sizes. From 1999 to 2002, Dave was a senior analyst for Southwest
Securities covering the telecom equipment industry. Dave was Director of Research at
Hodges Capital Management and First Dallas Securities, covering a variety of Southwest-
based companies. Dave is also the Editor of Mossberg's Investor Digest, a monthly
subscription newsletter distributed to institutional investors throughout the country. Dave
served in the US Army as an Interrogator/ Russian linguist. Dave received both his BBA in
Finance and BBA in International Business from the Universiity of Texas - Arlington and holds
a MBA from Southern Methodist University. Dave is a member of the CFA Society of Dallas
Fort Worth and the National Investor Relations Institute.
Mike Carney, CFA, has 14 years of experience working with CEOs, executives, board
directors and professional investors. He is an expert in strategy execution, FP&A, corporate
development, organizational process design and micro and macro analysis. Most recently,
Mike was Head of Development & Strategy for XETA Technologies, which was acquired by
PAETEC in 2011. Prior to his assignment at XETA, Mike worked with a number of publicly
traded and privately held companies as an interim executive and strategy consultant. Prior
to this career, Mike worked in investment research and corporate finance for a number of
investment banks, including Coker & Palmer, Aperion Group, Stephens, Morgan Keegan and
Hoak Breedlove Wesneski. During his career, Mike has focused on a number of sectors,
including business services, industrial, consumer, technology and financial. He has also
analyzed and advised on macroeconomics and the effects on specific industries. He has been
widely quoted in the business and financial press. Mike received a MBA from TCU with
emphasis in investments and business law. He also holds a BA in economics and completed
the Business Economics Program with a specialization in money and banking from UT Austin.
Mike is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Institute.
Jeff Elliott brings over 11 years of experience in investor relations, marketing and public
relations to Three Part Advisors. Jeff has provided senior strategic investor relations
consulting and executive guidance to several Fortune 1000 companies including: Dave &
Buster’s, Emergency Medical Services Corp. (NYSE: EMS), GulfMark Offshore (NYSE: GLF),
Lindsay Corp. (NYSE:LNN), Skilled Healthcare (NYSE: SKH) and many others. Having been a
successful entrepreneur, building and selling a successful small business, Jeff thinks like an
owner and is able to give a first-hand perspective when advising C-level executives. Jeff is
an excellent communicator and has been a speaker at the Institute for Excellence in
Corporate Governance at the University of Texas at Dallas. Jeff graduated from the
University of North Texas with a B.B.A. with a concentration in marketing, finance and
communications.
Steve Gear has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining
Three Part Advisors, Steve held executive and managerial positions at several broker/
dealers including Mercantile Investment Services, Mercantile Bank’s Brokerage Division. From
1992 to 2006, Steve worked as an equity analyst and institutional broker advising
institutional investors on small capitalization equity issues. As a former software and internet
analyst, Steve specialized in online business information companies and issued research
coverage on companies such as MapInfo (Nasdaq: MAPS), Hoover’s (Nasdaq: HOOV) and
Pinnacor (Nasdaq: PCOR). Steve has helped build online financial communities and has been
an outside contributing author to TheStreet.com. Steve has a BA from the University of
Mississippi.
Jim Gentrup, CFA has over 20 years of analysis, research and portfolio management
experience. Jim’s professional highlights include: publishing independent research, launching
and managing long/short equity hedge funds, developing a multi-factor quantitative screen
to find small-cap stocks, establishing a research network and process that enables
proficient, due-diligence gathering across diverse industries, authoring numerous research
reports on smaller public companies, and publishing a newsletter called “The Provident
Report.” He has been widely quoted in major investor publications such as Investor’s
Business Daily and Reuters. In addition to his duties with Three Part Advisors, he publishes
subscription-based research for institutional investors. Jim founded independent research
firm, Discovery Investment Research, in late 2000 and is the editor of “The Small-Cap
Innovation Report.” Jim has a successful track record of finding and investing in relatively
unknown, but innovative public companies with enormous potential. He combines a unique
blend of quantitative and qualitative skills to assess the risk/reward characteristics of
stocks. Jim has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
(2003). He holds Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Education with a Math major.
Steven Hooser has over 6 years of capital markets and investor relations experience. Prior
to joining Three Part Advisors, Steven managed several successful IR programs, working as
an intermediary between senior management and Wall Street for his all of his clients'
communications. In addition, Steven was an associate at First Dallas Securities and Hodges
Capital Management where he assisted in the firms’ equity research efforts and produced
the firms’ investor conferences. Steven has a BBA from the University of Texas at Dallas
with a concentration in finance.
Lewis Kreps has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry as an analyst
covering offshore drillers, land drillers, E&P companies, marine transportation, air
transportation, and pipeline construction companies. For the last three years, Lewis was a
Senior Analyst with Duncan Williams, C.K. Cooper, and Jesup Lamont. From 2002 to 2007,
Lewis was the Founder and Managing Director of Aperion Group, LLC. Prior to Aperion Group,
he was the Head of Energy Research for Frost Securities, a subsidiary of Frost Bank. He was
recognized by Starmine as the #2 analyst in the sector as both the Top Stock Picker and
Most Accurate Earnings Estimator. Lewis started his financial career at Dain Rauscher
working with both institutional and retail clients covering oilfield service companies. Before
his financial career, Lewis spent 15 years with Dual Drilling Company as Senior Vice President
of Contracts, Marketing, and Business Development. While at Dual, He opened 10 foreign
offices, negotiated all drilling contracts, was responsible for all asset acquisitions and
dispositions, supervised over 800 employees worldwide, and ultimately, helped sell the
company to ENSCO in 1996. Lewis grew up in the commercial construction business where
he supervised small and large construction projects all over the Southwest U.S. Lewis
graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Civil Engineering and received an MBA
from Southern Methodist University. Lewis is an Eagle Scout and remains active in Scouting
as an Eagle Advisor.
John Palizza is a financial executive with over 30 years of experience in investor relations,
corporate finance and law. With an extensive background in treasury, capital markets,
investor relations, banking, financial analysis and law, he has concentrated his career in
helping the companies he has worked with benefit the most from their relations with Wall
Street and the financial community. John has held financial and investor relations
responsibilities at SYSCO Corporation (NYSE:SYY), the largest foodservice distribution
company in North America and Walgreen Co. (NYSE:WAG), the largest retail drug store chain
in the United States. He has also worked with the firm of W. P. Stewart, an investment
manager, as their Chief Operating Officer for North American subsidiaries in order to manage
their transition to a public company through an IPO. John Palizza earned a bachelor’s degree
in History from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a law degree from Loyola University of
Chicago. In 1994, he completed his Masters in Management at the J. L. Kellogg Graduate
School of Management, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the business school
honor society. In addition to his work at Three Part Advisors, John also teaches investor
relations at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and serves part time on

Larrie A. Weil, CFA has had a forty year successful career in the investment banking
industry as a senior executive; as a senior advisor to both public and private companies on a
wide range of corporate finance transactions; and as a director of equity research at
investment banking firms. Prior to joining Three Part Advisors, Larrie was a Senior Managing
Director at Howard Frazier Barker Elliott, specializing on mergers and acquisitions; was
Executive Vice Operating Officer at Underwood, Neuhaus & Co. With his thorough
understanding of the capital markets and his experience in mergers and acquisitions and
capital raising, Larrie is a valuable partner for CEO's in developing and implementing
strategic plans for value-creating corporate growth.
